SODIC's 2024 Results: What the Numbers Signal for Buyers

SODIC's full-year 2024 results show gross contracted sales of EGP 50.3 billion, up 66% on 2023's EGP 30.26 billion, with 1,270 units sold over the year. Net profit rose 84% year-on-year to EGP 2.53 billion. The North Coast, led by Ogami, accounted for the bulk of sales, with West Cairo projects including The Estates contributing the rest.

For buyers, the figure worth watching is delivery, not sales: SODIC handed over 1,045 units in 2024 and collected EGP 15 billion in cash from customers, both signs of a developer funding construction from real receipts rather than promises. A EGP 87 billion backlog of unrecognised revenue points to several more years of committed delivery ahead.
